The task of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan is to spend budget funds as economically as possible. The chairman of the department, Marat Ziatdinov, stressed at the weekly meeting that federal measures are being increasingly implemented that make life easier for customers and enable businesses to receive real orders. In this regard, the state committee brings and explains all the innovations of the legislation in order to buy the best cheaper, while maintaining the quality of goods and services.
"In our republic, the public procurement system is successfully developing, involving small businesses in the process as well, giving them the opportunity to receive orders and develop. Over the past week, 40 purchases worth more than 90 million rubles were placed. Contracts worth more than 12 million rubles have been signed. 130 suppliers, many of whom are representatives of Tatarstan, have applied to participate in electronic auctions," Marat Ziatdinov said.
Among the purchased goods and services are computer and office equipment, transport and diesel fuel, furniture, household and office supplies, etc. Here, the sanctions played in favor of domestic producers. For example, last week a domestic—made LADA Granta car was purchased for the Nurlat Agricultural College, and a GAZ-SAZ 2507 dump truck was purchased for the Aznakaevsky Polytechnic College under a national project.
During the meeting, the state committee summed up the results of the last zonal seminar in the Sabinsky district, which brought together more than 250 heads and specialists of authorities at various levels authorized to carry out functions for organizing and implementing purchases for municipal needs, as well as business representatives from 11 districts of the republic.
"We have already received feedback on the meeting in Sabinsky district — the seminars turned out to be important and necessary. Indeed, there is a great interest in the practice of applying procurement legislation, in organizing and carrying out purchases of goods, works, services to meet state and municipal needs, as well as control in the field of procurement. Moreover, both from customers and suppliers," commented the Chairman of the State Procurement Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The next seminar will be held in December in the Trans—Volga region of the republic.
