The procurement laws will introduce a ban on the participation of foreign agents - the amendments have passed the third reading

28 November 2022, Monday

From December 1, foreign agents will not be able to participate in public procurement and procurement of certain types of legal entities.

Corresponding amendments, in particular to Law No. 44, were adopted in the third reading on November 24. The requirement that the participant should not be such an agent will be established in the procurement. It will not affect individual participants who are affiliated with a foreign agent. Compliance with this condition will be checked by the procurement commission (Article 32 of the project).

They want to make similar changes to Law N 223 (Article 28 of the draft).

It should be noted that the registers of foreign agents and individuals who are affiliated with them will be maintained on its website by the Ministry of Justice.
