Competition "Best Archive" announced
The State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Archiving is holding a contest "The best archive of a non-profit organization and a public authority - a source of acquisition of the state (municipal) archive of the Republic of Tatarstan" and "The best archive of a commercial organization - a source of acquisition of the state (municipal) archive of the Republic of Tatarstan".
In order to implement the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan dated June 10, 2016 No. 395 “On Approval of the State Program “Development of Archiving in the Republic of Tatarstan for 2016-2024”, the State Committee of the Republic of Tatarstan for Archival Affairs is holding a competition “The best archive of a non-profit organization and a public authority – a source of acquisition of the state (municipal) archive of the Republic of Tatarstan” and “The best archive of a commercial organization – a source of acquisition of the state (municipal) archive of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Applications are accepted until August 14, 2022.
The total prize fund is 6,750 thousand rubles. According to the results of the competitions, three winners are determined:
1st place - 1,000 thousand rubles;
2nd place - 750 thousand rubles;
3rd place - 500 thousand rubles.
Starting from 2022, an additional nomination has been introduced: “The best archive of the local self-government body of a rural settlement - a source of acquisition of the municipal archive of the Republic of Tatarstan”. Six rural settlements can become winners in this nomination and receive a grant in the amount of 375 thousand rubles for the creation of modern regulatory conditions for the storage of archival documents.
