The new decree of the Government of the Russian Federation allocated powers between the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Federal Treasury in creating a unified procurement information system.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed the Government Decree of 30.09.2014 № 996 "About the distribution of powers between the Ministry of Economic Development and the Federal Treasury in creating a unified information system in the area of procurement."

The Russian government has given a positive opinion on the draft law about the transfer of open competitive procedures in electronic form

The bill of the State Duma of the Russian Federation I.N. Rudenskaya, proposed to the Federal Law of 05.04.2013 № 44-FL "About the contract system in the procurement of goods, works and services for state and municipal needs" changes that will be sent to transfer all open competitive procedures for the determination of suppliers (contractors, performers) in electronic form.
