The FAS informed how state customers should form documentation for the purchase of the drug "Vancomycin"
When describing the object of purchase, customers indicate, among other things, the dosage form of the drug, including its equivalent forms. In the register of medicines under the international nonproprietary name (INN) "Vancomycin", drugs in the following forms are registered:
powder for preparing a solution for infusions;
lyophilizate for the preparation of this solution.
In Russia, within the framework of this INN, there are drugs in such equivalent forms:
powder for preparing a solution for infusions and oral administration;
powder for the preparation of concentrate for the preparation of a solution for infusions and a solution for oral administration;
lyophilizate for the preparation of a solution for infusions and oral administration.
The FAS reported that in most cases, the use of all drugs within the framework of the INN "Vancomycin" involves intravenous administration. Some of them can also be used orally.
The agency indicated that it is impossible to purchase drugs with the INN "Vancomycin" without indicating the possibility of their delivery in equivalent forms. We are talking about cases when the indications for use and the route of administration of drugs coincide.
