From July 21 to August 10, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives for the Promotion of New Projects, together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, AHO "NTI Platform" and AHO "University 2035", conducts the project and educational intensive Archipelago 2121, aimed at creating new innovative teams in the regions, developing technological projects in key areas of socio-economic development and increasing the share of technology business in the economy.
The participants of the Archipelago 2121 are technological entrepreneurs, representatives of universities, development institutes, business and regional executive authorities. More than 10,000 people have already registered to participate.
The final stage of the intensive program will be held from August 4 to 10 in Veliky Novgorod. This stage of the program is aimed at using the results obtained at the previous stages in the interests of socio-economic development of cities and regions, at forming strategies for regional technological and social development, at spreading best practices in the field of personnel management and education development, attracting new technology teams to the regions, as well as introducing promising solutions that correspond to the desired future scenarios developed at the first stages of the intensive.
The teams of the regions will undergo a competitive selection, the main criteria of which will be: compliance of the team composition with the recommendations (the presence of representatives of government and business, heads of development institutes, a separate university team or university representatives as part of the team of the region) and the number of technological teams that participate in the Archipelago 2121. The work of the teams will begin in full-time format on August 4, 2021, with an introduction to the results of the 100-year Horizon foresight, foresights of new markets, and the results of designing key technological projects. Then, within 5 days, the teams will get acquainted with the best practices in various fields, form strategies for regional technological and social development, work with experts and potential partners. The defense of the results of the work is scheduled for August 10 with the participation of representatives of federal executive authorities and an expanded representation of regional leaders.
