The draft amendments to the procedure for determining the initial maximum price of the contract relate to the use of reference prices.
Their mandatory use will be delayed until then while they will not be available in UIS.
Reference is the price of the drug, which is automatically calculated in the Unified state information system in the field of health, and then transferred to the UIS.
Initially, the use of reference prices was planned to be introduced from July 1 last year. Then the deadline was postponed to January 1, 2019, but at this point information on prices was not available. Now the Ministry of health did not determine the new exact date, and linked the beginning of the use of reference prices with the moment of their appearance in the UIS.
According to the explanatory note, reference prices will begin to appear in the UIS in stages. This process is planned to be fully completed by the end of 2019.
