It was allowed to change the terms of state construction contracts due to unforeseen situations in 2023.

The government extended for 2023 the procedure for changing the essential terms of contracts that cannot be fulfilled due to circumstances beyond the control of the parties.

We are talking about contracts for construction, reconstruction, overhaul, demolition of a capital construction facility or the preservation of cultural heritage sites.

They also clarified that it is possible to change the price due to the rise in the cost of building materials in the same order, but only within the limits of budget obligations. The adjustment should not increase the term of the contract or its price by more than 30%.

The change went into effect on October 26th.
