The responsibility of participants for the provision of false information in public procurement want to tighten
The Ministry of Justice prepared a draft amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, which provides for the administrative liability of participants in public procurement for the provision of knowingly false information about liability under art. 19.28 Administrative Code of the Russian Federation. If the project is accepted, legal entities who have lied that they were not held liable for illegal remuneration on behalf of the organization for two years prior to the filing of the application will be fined from 100 thousand to 150 thousand rubles.
Public discussion of the project will last until July 10.
Recall that from January 1, 2021, electronic platform operators, among other information, will transmit to customers data on holding participants liable for illegal compensation on behalf of a legal entity. They planned to introduce this innovation from January 1, 2020, but the date was postponed.
