The government plans to ban public procurement of foreign data storage systems
The ban will apply to software and hardware systems of data storage systems of foreign origin, which relate to the code 26.20.2 "Storage devices and other storage devices". If the ban is imposed, it will be valid for two years.
It will be necessary to confirm that the goods are produced in Russia, presenting the conclusion of the Ministry of industry and trade.
In addition to the ban itself, it is proposed to establish a number of requirements for the contractor of the state contract and the goods. In particular, the contractor can only be a Russian organization, in which more than 50% is the share of direct and indirect participation of Russian citizens and organizations without predominant foreign participation.
The ban will not affect public procurement:
started before the entry into force of this project;
conducted on the territory of a foreign state for the customer located there.
