The Russian government plans to double the share of public procurement from SMEs to 31 by 2020%

Developing competition activities, defined by the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, will be aimed at the transition of certain areas of natural monopolies from this status to the state of the competitive market by 2020.

They will cover the following activities:

of the social services market;

educations;

agribusiness;

construction, including road;

telecommunications';

information technology;

UTILITIES SECTOR;

gas supply;

oil and petroleum products trade;

industry, including coal;

financial market

For each of these activities, certain road map benchmarks should be achieved.

So, by 2020 should be reduced by half the number of violations of the Antimonopoly legislation by bodies of state power and local self-government in comparison with the previous year. And the share of public procurement, participants of which are only small businesses and SONO, on the contrary, should double.
